Army Crawl

I knew Nolan was getting closer to some sort of crawling. When on his tummy, he was doing a variety of push-up-like things. More times than not, he tries to get up in a plank position, but quickly realizes he can't do anything with that yet and will just fall over. 

So then, he started unlocking those knees and would be on all fours, but only for seconds at a time. 

He still does that frequently. 

Today, I heard what I thought was Aiko getting into the trash in the nursery. When I went to investigate, it was Nolan! He'd gotten half way across his room and was tugging at the trash can. Yuck (and welcome to mobile baby times, huh?). So I brought him into the living room to play and I observed that he'd figured out how to move forward, and so, Nolan's army crawl was born.
