Smiley Face

This month was my first time ever using an ovulation kit. As mentioned before, I did use two different ones: the Clearblue easy digital and then the super cheap ones.

I started it on the first day of my cycle in February and then on day 13 of my cycle I got this:

I was pretty excited. It was like that smiley face made my whole day happy. I have no idea why, it's not like we started trying this month or anything. It was still just... exciting. I got the smiley face on day 14 of my cycle too! Woo-hoo, two happy days in a row ;)

I did find it odd that I got the positives on day 13 and 14 of my cycle though. My cycle bounces around between a 30-35 day cycle. I've read that people with 'normal' 28-29 day cycles usually will ovulate on day 13-15 of their cycles. So, I, along with my handy iPhone app that's been helping me keep track of things for several years now, wasn't expecting mine to be until like day 17-19 of my cycle.

I was also excited to know that both of the tests that I used produced consistent results with each other! They produced the same things every day that I used them. 

In other news, I have my appointment with my OBGYN this Friday! I can't wait to get all of my questions answered by the doc! Hopefully he agrees that everything's good to go :)
