Precious Moments

There are little moments that probably seem very insignificant to some, but they're so precious to me that I just have to write about them.

Like, when the hubs looks at baby clothes and talks about what he thinks is cute. Or when he brainstorms baby nursery themes with me and decorating ideas. Or when he gets set on a name and runs around calling our yet to even be conceived child by it... all the time. Or when he talks about all the things that he'll do with our kid - like always have someone to play games with or music (he seems to think it'll just work out like that).

Or one of my most recent favorites, I was brainstorming my business idea with him, about a center that I still have my heart set on opening someday. However, when I finished he says, "But, you don't even have that much time left to really work."

I answered with, "Well, the idea is that I would continue to work after the baby comes. The baby could just come to work with me."

Without missing a beat he sarcastically, yet seriously, says, "June bug needs one-on-one attention and education! It's very important."

It was the first, natural confirmation that I've gotten from him that maybe he is really on board with this stay-at-home-mommy thing. I've always wanted to be one. But, I've often felt like maybe I'd be shrugging off other wife responsibilities if I just assumed or strongly implied that it's what I wanted to do. Because with a great husband like mine, he does what he can to give me what I want.

Like I said, may seem small and insignificant to some, but these are precious moments for me!
