Just one month from today, I'll have a three year old. One month. Thirty-one days. A three year old.

Guysss, that's cray. 

So, this will likely be the last time I ever post about my two year old. 

So much has happened.

He was in a wedding,

he had his third halloween,

he went down a four story slide,

he had his yearly cardiologist appointment,

he had Thanksgiving visitors, 

he played his first board game, 

he met his great grandma (and aunt Tracey) for the first time, 

he started playing soccer,

he had his third Christmas,

and he started potty training (sorry, no pic of that one). 

We had busy last half to our year. Whew. 

He cried walking down the aisle of the wedding, he loved trick-or-treating, he's obsessed with the giant slide, his heart abnormalities aren't causing any major problems, he adores his aunt and uncle's Thanksgiving visits, he didn't care for turn taking while playing board games, he very much enjoyed his visitors from Texas, he's borderline obsessed with soccer, and he was a blast at Christmas!

For Halloween and Christmas, we made sugar cookies, so now every time I get out the beater he asks if we're going to make some cookies. lol

He's doing super, super excellent potty training. We took the same 3 days to potty training approach we tested out a year ago, and it's very clear to me now that he really wasn't ready then.

This weekend we're tackling the conversion to a toddler bed! Eeek. So nervous about this one. The kid is such a good sleeper, I'm so not wanting to mess with that. But, ya know, I guess we can't leave him in a crib forever.

He's grown like 3 inches since August! Crazy! Major growth spurt going on. 

As a result, we're thinking about turning his carseat forward facing. He has technically met the requirement based on AAP recommendations to be turned forward facing - last I checked, but I'll have to check again before actually making the switch. He's very anxious to get turned forward facing, so if he has in fact met the height requirements and his head is within an inch of the car seat shell, then... we'll probably turn him around... probably... 

Nothing ever came of the speech evaluation. Not sure if we'll repeat it in six months or not.

So many changes happening, it's so bittersweet. 

But, there ya have it... my almost three year old.
