About the baby:
By the 29th week your baby is probably quite active, and those first few flutters of movement have given way to hard jabs and punches that may even take your breath away (if they haven't already). If you notice a decrease in movement, do a fetal kick count: your baby should move at least 10 times in two hours. If your baby moves less, talk to your health care provider.
Your baby can be as long as 17 inches at this pint and weight nearly 3 pounds. Your baby won't probably grow much more in length (3 more inches or so), but will double (if not triple) in weight as their lose skin starts to fill out with with fat - to create those cute baby fat rolls.
As that little one continues to grow, the space in your wombs gets smaller and smaller for him/her. They're going to start feeling a little cramped, which is part of why those jabs will start getting harder.
Alright, I took my picture on time yesterday, but with it being Christmas and all I just didn't have time to get it posted :)
I've had a pretty good week. I did have some more contraction-like cramping this week. However, my leg cramps and sleeping has gotten better. Except for Christmas Eve night I slept terribly for some reason. I must've woken up like 5 or 6 times to go pee.
It could be that I just haven't been as busy the last few days, but I have felt a little more movement - it seems. And those little jabs are getting harder. There's a little foot a little too close to my ribs for my likings, and yet every time I get kicked by it I marvel at how precious my son is.
We've finally decided on the place to get our 3D/4D ultrasound at and I'm so excited to get it done! We get a DVD of the ultrasound and a CD of images, along with several prints. Plus, they live-stream the ultrasound! How awesome :) So, we'll probably be offering a login/password of sorts for anyone interested in tuning in at the time of our appointment (which has not been set yet). I'm super excited about it.
Alright precious Lovebug, we've made it to week 29. Just 11 more weeks to go. Go ahead and get comfy, little man… you've gotta hang out in there until the Spring.
