Oh my goodness, the last two days have been misery with the nausea. I still haven't thrown up yet. But, I seriously have like a phobia of vomiting, so I can fight it back pretty thoroughly.
This morning I wasn't feeling as sick and I got a random drive to workout, so I embraced it before I lost my motive.
I finally did my first prenatal workout and it kind of kicked my butt.
Oh, how I regret my inactivity from this summer. I've gotten so out of shape :( I've done so well with being active for like two years now too! And then this summer came and with all the pelvis and SI joint stuff on top of the pregnancy… I just wasn't exercising at all.
When my arms and legs were quivering after my workout this morning and I felt like I was going to die, I definitely wish I'd just sucked it up and been doing something this summer!
I'm really happy about these workouts though. I'm glad they're not like the let's-stretch-and-smile type of prenatal exercising. The lady that designed them was like an Insanity/P90x person before and wanted to design a more effective workout for pregnancy. I love that she alters the workouts for each trimester too! And that she's actually pregnant and going through all of these workouts with you through her own pregnancy.

I think it'll be easier to get in a routine when I start back to work in my classroom. I get off before the hubs, so I think I'll do my workouts as soon as I get home.
Plus, sadly, this is my last month at the studio :( It's so bittersweet. I just know there's no way I could keep up two things throughout this year while also being pregnant, and our plans for after the baby comes was included in that conclusion.
Though I'm very sad about the tough decision that resulted in me leaving, at least I know I won't have work outside of my convenient 8-4:30 or have any busy work-related weekends.
This should all help remove my excuses for not getting/staying fit while carrying around my sweet little Lovebug. I won't really have the "I'm just so busy," excuse anymore. Lol. I have to make this a priority. It's more important for me to be healthy and strong now than any other time!
Now... let's see if I can manage to feel enough of that conviction to not stuff my face with any unhealthy cravings I might feel like I need... ;)
